Caroline on Tour
TERMS OF CONDITIONS
We are a group of divers who go on Live-a-board Trips to the warm waters of the world. I, Caroline Boysen, organise the trips and I am responsible for the administration. Anyone who would like to join us accepts the following:
If you have any questions please contact: [email protected]
- Court of jurisdiction is the country in which the Live-a-board Trip takes place.
- Travel to and from the port of embarkation (flights, car transfers, etc.) must be organized by the participants themselves.
- A contract is concluded between the booking party and the operator upon acceptance of a written, telephone, electronic (online) or personal booking. If the booking party is registering more than one participant, the booking party is responsible for the contractual obligations (in particular the payment of the travel price) of all participants as for his own obligations.
- Each participant must ensure that the relevant passport and visa requirements as well as any health and police regulations to be observed upon entry into the holiday country are complied with. Failure to do so that results in any delay or inability to be at the boat at the agreed time of departure is entirely the responsibility of the participant and will not entitle the participant to any kind of refund. Please inquire at the time of booking with the relevant embassy whether and which regulations exist for the trip, as these provisions can change at short notice. The respective Embassy of the Country informs you about entry regulations it is incumbent upon the participant to check shortly before departure. We do not accept any liability for refusal of entry. The participant is responsible for complying with the passport, visa, customs, foreign exchange, vaccination and health regulations and for carrying the necessary documents. Any disadvantages resulting from non-observance of these regulations will be at your expense. Please note that the boat will depart at the agreed time and it may not be possible for a delayed participant to join after departure.
- The prices for the diving safari and any additional costs can be found in our offers and publications. Other publications (for example brochures of intermediaries and other information material not produced by us), Internet pages of service providers or if yourself get in touch with the service provider are not covered by the contract and we are not liable for the information contained therein. The prices are (unless otherwise stated) per person in Swiss Francs and / or Euro.
- The payment terms of the respective organizer apply.
- Our liability is based on the terms and conditions of the dive boat owner and/or organizer.
We accept no liability for any changes to the program for any reason whatsoever outside her control, this includes but is not limited to flight delays, strikes, force majeure, official measures, delays by third parties. We accept no liability for lost wages, flights, or similar and the participant expressly accepts this by confirming the booking. - We strongly recommend the completion of an adequate insurance including, travel cancellation, a dive insurance (DAN or AquaMed), accident and travel luggage insurance. We assume no liability for the loss or damage of luggage or diving equipment during transport.
- The organized diving activities during the dive safari will comply with the currently valid standards of diving associations, such as PADI and CMAS. The respective standards must be adhered to by the participants. Participation in our diving safaris requires mental and physical fitness. It is therefore strongly advised to have a medical examination before you book the safari. Participants in dive safaris declare themselves to be fully dive fit by the act of booking the dive safari. During the dive safaris all instructions given by the instructors, guides and supervisors must be followed. Infringements will result in the immediate exclusion from further diving without any claim for reimbursement. The competent diving instructor on the spot has the right, in case of a lack of qualification, to change the dive plan or the booked diving program. In principle, the participant undertakes all activities during the dive safari at his own risk, is responsible for himself both during the dives and out of the water and must comply with all local, national and international safety guidelines. The participant is liable for damages or loss of leased diving material and property. The cabins on the boats are basically shared with other participants. A single booking is possible, however, only after arrangement and is charged with an appropriate extra charge.
- We reserve the right to change the program for the dive safari or individual agreed services (such as accommodation, mode of transport or times, etc.) if unforeseen circumstances require it, but will endeavor to provide equivalent replacement services. If I am forced to cancel the program because of force majeure (including but not limited to natural catastrophes, environmental influences such as high waves, motor damage, political unrest and warlike events which, for security reasons, strikes, etc.) I will inform you as soon as possible, and will try to find a substitute solution.
- With the booking you confirm the correctness of the given personal data. The data are processed for the provision of the service and forwarded to a third party for the execution of an order.
