About Caroline

I started with scuba diving in September 1993 in Berlin (Germany). For the Open Water Dives we had to go to the „Helenesee“, close to Frankfurt/Oder – this was in September at 8°C outside and cosy 12°C in the water. So, I decided – diving is nothing for me ... freezing cold, nothing you can see ... no, thank you!
In 1996 I ended up in Thailand on Phuket Island. At Kamala Beach, I bumped into the scuba instructors Gerson and Guenther from G & G Diving. We became friends quite quickly and as I mentioned my “diving career” back in Germany (I held an OWD brevet), they convinced me to go diving with them. Thanks to this I finally enjoyed my first warm ocean water dive at the King Cruiser wreck – and immediately I got infected with the scuba virus!
